I’ve been possibly the worst blogger in the world for the past few weeks. …. or months.
I would like to be able to tell you I’ve been busy, or that I’ve had some really threatening illness, but… really I can’t. I got–wait for it–LAZY. So here’s a little catch up on my life… that has nothing to do with movies whatsoever.
So… I GRADUATED from that horrible institution that we call High School. See?? We threw the hats and everything:
(Yes, that is actually my high school, not some random picture I pulled from the internet… I’m one in from the left… You can kind of see my hair, it being very blonde and all).
Other than that, I’ve been reading, shopping, sleeping (I may or may not have slept until two in the afternoon today) and prepping for my upcoming fabulous (and rather hectic) summer.
Tomorrow I leave to drop my sister off at camp, which will be the worst experience of my life because I wont’ see her again until October so I will probably break down in tears and embarrass the absolute bejeezus out of her. I think that’s my job though, right?
THEN on Saturday, we drive to Ohio to not only visit my grandparents, but so that I can choose my classes at the institution of higher education that I will attending next year named the College of Wooster. I will be picking classes, staying in dorm rooms and taking my placement tests (which will me a menagerie of humor if I do say so myself, because the language of Spanish has quite escaped my grasp and that test will produce mostly hysterical results, I’m quite sure of it). THEN we return on Wednesday… I think.
On Thursday, my mother and I leave for the country of GERMANY. We shall be landing in Berlin, the world’s techno capital. Oh yeah, and home to other stuff like the Berlin wall, but what’s an old Cold War era wall when compared to the thrilling promise of clubbing in a foreign country??
After a few crazy nights we head off, on a train, to Nuremberg. Where those pesky trials were.
And then to round off our trip we head to Munich, the home of the beer garden! And the BMW museum! And a few other things, but hey, I’ll be drinking beer. Just kidding. Not. But I am.
I’ll be visiting some family in Germany that I’ve never met before and I’m uber excited (see what I did there?)!! Some aunts and uncles and cousins (one of whom I was named after). Yes, my blog readers (which probably is none of you now that I haven’t blogged in so long), I am German! I look German to the core so I’ll probably be able to confuse some German citizens pretty well by NOT SPEAKING GERMAN!
But before I leave you, let me teach you the most important word in the German language: Einhorn. What does it mean you ask?
Unicorn, of course.
